    This recorder is easy to use and has very good voice quality but the faceplate is badly designed. Any time you touch it, it starts to talk because the PLAY button is the biggest thing and protrudes above the base plate. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    My boyfriend is soon to begin his PGCE course at university, training to become a Physics teacher . Whilst he undoubtedly has the intelligence and knowledge to succeed in this, he knows from previously completing a Physics degree that his dyslexia presents a few problems, particularly when it comes to taking notes. For this reason, he's digging out his dictaphone in preperation, so that he can record lectures and then complete his notetaking at a speed that suits him . Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    • Small, lightweight, long battery life, easy to use and low cost.
    • Minor nuisances like lack of clip and touchy volume control.

    Bought the Sony Digital Voice Recorder to help with novel writing and keep class notes to review. Works well for both. Excellent pickup of lectures, even far away, and because it is simlple to use it doesn't get in the way of creativity. Only issue was I realized that I might want to download notes/writing after I bought it, the upside is that in the comments I found the solution, so the missing attribute wasn't an issue after all.
