  1. Very Disappointed - Lasted about 23 months!

    Purchased February, 2010. Used about a dozen times. Never mistreated. It now shorts batteries and doesn't work at all. Sony will exchange it for $80.00. This is not good product support policy. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    I use five Sony recorders with digital pitch control and timers to record the BBC, PBS and ABC news daily, and then I listen to them at 60% overspeed using earphones when I'm shaving, gardening etc. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    It's a Sony, so you know it's made well. Small but not too small. I love the option to manually adjust the record volume. This works well if you like to record music demos. This keeps the volume limiter off. But it has many auto - record levels to choose from as well as the quality of recording you want. The stereo microphone is really good.     I originally used one of these (much older model) back in the day at school as I found I was missing a lot of the lectures and my notes tended to have gaps in them. Worked a treat and made school a bit easier for me. Over the years I've been part of a few research groups and they tend to use recorders so that they can go back and listen to comments later if they can't remember them.     I have studied and used this recorder extensively and find it to be just what I need. I still have not tried it with Dragon naturally speaking but I am confident it will work well. The interface with the software is first rate, in my opinion. The only issue I have is with the lack of accessories from Sony. I called both Sony Style and Sony Parts and cannot get an AC adaptor or a stand for the unit. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
