Alice in Wonderland is een heerlijk tussendoortje voor als je even toe bent aan een verse portie avontuur. De sporadische gevechten zijn weinig verheffend en echt moeilijk wordt het avontuur nergens, maar daar speel je Alice in Wonderland niet voor. De aantrekkingskracht van deze game komt uit de detailrijke omgevingen die erom vragen ontdekt te worden. Disney's Alice in Wonderland combines some of the most beloved, classic gameplay elements to make a surprisingly solid release. In fact, it's one of the most engaging licensed titles I've played in recent years, if but for one glaring flaw. Officially, this is classified in the adventure genre. Not that this is wrong, but to put it like Alice would, it is so much more as well. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

- Upgrades are hard to come by, Combat is overused, Camera angle in combat is disruptive

Make no mistake, though, this is ultimately a flawed game, and one that becomes significantly moreso the longer you spend time with it, but some of the attempts at elevating what could have very easily been a cheap cash-in effort deserve some major props. French developer Etranges Libellules (I’ll just stick with their ELB logo version from here on out lest Word’s spell checker implode) gets a big pat on the back from me for using the look and feel of the movie to do... First of all, I will admit that the game gets a little repetitive after a while … and it’s way too easy. However, it’s targeted towards kids. The game sees you playing the roles of up to five characters with different abilities. The March Hare can use Telekinesis for example, allowing you to move bricks and create bridges for your character to get across. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

It's actually a little frustrating to see a game with some solid ideas end up losing itself in mindless repetition and overuse of some very neat ideas. Sadly, such is the fate of many licensed games, and though Alice in Wonderland comes so very, very close to being something I could recommend to old and young alike, it falls just short of anything but a rental. My kids (13 & 16) say they like how you can play different characters. They also like how each character has a special power. According to them, the graphics are okay - nothing special- and the skill level varies. Considering that I purchased this during a special promo, for $9.99, free shipping, well worth the money spent, and it allowed me to give them this game for Christmas - taking into account my current situation, I wouldn't have been able to buy a wii game for... It was fun to explore a different type of game than i am used to. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- My ex loves this game, Keeps her busy after working long shifts at the pizza joint she works at.
- Graphics looked some what cheesy on Wii, I have the same game for PC. Looks way better on my GTX 470.... Limitations of the console i figure.
