With Capcom's Street Fighter IV kick-starting a fighting renaissance, tripe such as this only serves to drag the genre back into the dark ages. Avoid. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Ultimately, everything in ToL can be learned and mastered in a matter of hours, which is perfect because that’s about the maximum amount of time it can be fun for. There are only III different play options that all boil down to the same thing. Single system II-player might be fun if you can trick any of your friends into playing. Except for a small bump of interest (and nostalgia) triggered by Street Fighter IV , it's clear to see that the fighting genre has been flagging over the last few years. Treading water and stuck in the doldrums, the trend has been for developers to cater to the hardcore players, steadily increasing complexity of systems, guards, counter-systems, guard-cancels, counter-system-guards and guard-counter-cancel-cancels to the point that new entries are inscrutable to all but... Tournament of Legends draws its fighters from the annals of classical mythology, setting them against each other in a standard one-on-one tourney. Unfortunately the game doesn't live up to its vaguely interesting premise, with horrible controls, ugly graphics, shallow gameplay and a dearth of content all vying to be its single worst quality. In Conclusion:Tournament of Legends makes the same mistake that the original Assassin's Creed did, it has some interesting ideas but it's sloppy and gets the core gameplay wrong. Completion enthusiasts may want to pick up this game as it requires multiple playthroughs to acquire everything, and there are some interesting unlockables, however anyone expecting a hardcore fighting experience should stay away from this game, and go pick up Super Street Fighter IV, or...
