Soms is het lastig uit te leggen waarom een bepaalde game je aandacht weet vast te houden terwijl andere soortgelijke titels al na een uurtje je console uitvliegen. Maar MagnaCarta II voert het welbekende trucje gewoon keurig uit, en de gelikte graphics maken bekende kost wat betreft verhaal en gameplay een stuk makkelijker te verteren. Lees Meer

Onder de diepe laag van middelmatigheid ligt een degelijke RPG begraven die het vooral moet hebben van de vermakelijke gevechten. Helaas weet deze degelijke basis van Magna Carta II door de vele minpunten nooit aan de oppervlakte te komen en valt de game hopeloos in het niet tussen de betere RPG’s op de markt. Magna Carta II komt uit in een periode waarin gamers hun geld, tijd en aandacht kwijt kunnen aan tal van fantastische games. Toch ben ik ervan overtuigd dat er ruimte is voor een moderne traditionele RPG als deze. Traditioneel, aangezien Magna Carta II voldoet aan alle regels binnen het RPG-genre. Maar tevens modern, omdat de game er zijn eigen vechtsysteem en prachtige aankleding op nahoudt. Lees Meer

Innovation isn't necessarily the hallmark of a great game. There are plenty of examples of games built around unique concepts that failed in their implementation. There are also games that don't innovate at all, but are so well executed, they're still outstanding titles. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Ok first off, Really fun , graphics are great. The only reason I gave this a four instead of five. IS the two main characters look nearly identical from the first ones. also the memory thing had been used in that one as well. Other than these two traits the game was its own. Diffrent plot and story line. Very fun to play keeps you from getting bored. Not the best reveiw I could give. Just wanted to point out these two slightly anoying probems I had with it. I didn't particularly like the first MagnaCarta on PS2 despite my pre-release hype for the title, I had really low expectations when I heard there was a sequel coming. Well I am happy to say that I really enjoyed this title and its a shame SoftMax didn't think of another name for this game to escape the mediocrity of the first game. Magna Carta 2 is the third in the Magna Carta series, and the second to be translated into english. As with most jRPGs, knowledge of the other installments isn't necessary. The story centres around Juto, a man who has amnesia and a war between two sides (the rather lazily named Northern and Southern forces). The war comes to the island he lives on and he gets involved afterwards. Obviously there's more to it than that, but it still isn't that interesting. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Decent battle system, plenty of side quests, not too long
- Uninteresting storyline, poor voice overs
