Tecmo are of course using sex and the titillating girls in the game to sell it, knowing young males will think it's really cool to have a game with near-nude characters in it, rather like the incredibly sad XXX BMX. In an industry where gameplay and innovation should be driving game development forward, a developer as well known and respected as Tecmo (DOA series, Project Zero and Ninja Gaiden) shouldn't have to sink to this rather smutty level (there can only be one... So we all know about the extravagant hype this title has generated, and it has created many differing opinions about the game's reputation. Some say it's just pointless 'fan service', with a game shamelessly tacked on. Others say it's all about the idea of dressing up the DOA ladies with more accessories and bathing suits than you could shake a stick at, then playing a game of volleyball at the beach. 'Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball’ ist ein herrliches Stück Software, bei dem man sich so richtig wie in den Ferien fühlen kann. Allein schon aufgrund der phänomenalen Grafik, dem lustigen Spielprinzip und dem tollen Sound sollte es eigentlich jeder Xbox-Fan im Regal haben. Auch die unzähligen kaufbaren Items, Accessoires und Extras sorgen für Laune - dieses Feature macht einige Stunden Spaß, auf Dauer kann es allerdings etwas eintönig werden. Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball (XBV) is one of those games that's hard to classify. Sure, it has the word Volleyball in the title and volleyball does figure prominently in the game, but there's also gambling, a relationship sim, and collectibles. And then there's the women. Let's not kid ourselves here, the real point of XBV, the reason for its very existence, is an excuse to watch bathing beauties frolic in tropical locales. Age Rating: 16+ - partial nudity, sexual themes. Only on Xbox. 1 Player for main game, 2 players for Exhibition side game. Can be bought new or used for £3+ on ebay.co.uk. While I view the main Dead or Alive series as a fun distraction that I hadn't found overtly addictive; I was interested in the spin off when I came across it for a cheap price. - No storyline, not for most female players, short and not much substance in the game play.

...das Spielt dreht sich wirklich leider nur um das weibliche Objekt, ihre Brüste und ihren Hintern und was sie sonst halt noch so zu bieten haben. Ich legte mir das Spiel zu , da ich dachte es ist ganz lustig ein wenig mit meinen Freunden das Spiel zu spielen , doch es hat halt kaum was mit Spielen zutun. I love this game purely because of the DOA frachise made by tecmo. The game isn't that fun like all of Tecmos other games(ninja Gaiden, DOA1,2,3) but the graphics are nice and the gameplay is simple like all of tecmos games(except Ninja Gaiden). Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

- gameplay gets boring after a while. AI is pretty dumb.

As has been said below, this game is gorgeous. The girls look great in it and it is quite a nice game that involves mild titliation, materialism and some volleyball. I have to admit, I do not like my games too complicated or too involved, and so this game suits me well. After all, I am the sort of person who still enjoys playing Playgoy The Mansion. At first, I played it obsessively, completing the campaign for the girls that I liked the best. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
