Half-Life 2 is a great game anyway you slice it, whether it’s a great on the Xbox or not, well we’ll leave that decision for a later date. What we will say is that if the issues that were in the version that we played at E3 are fixed, and judging by Valve’s history they should be, then the Xbox could have a great addition to its already extensive library of first-person shooters. Clearly the PS2 couldn’t have handled this game, and this seems a little late on parade for the Xbox with a new Microsoft console just about to arrive – it’s bound to affect sales detrimentally, but whether you’re going to be an early 360 adopter or not this is a game that you need to play, so save some of the 360 budget for this gem, as I’m sure it’ll be one of the ones that plays on that. - Visuals, Characters, Storyline, Acting, Physics, I want a gravity gun and DOG for Christmas please.
- Twitchy controls, Less than solid frame rate.

Honestly, there was a time where I wasn't even sure that the long awaited sequel to Half-life was going to make it to the Xbox. Some months after the release of the critically acclaimed PC version, the Xbox version finally comes out and while one can't help but wonder how the two compares, let it be known that Xbox owners will find an excellent single player story in the game that they have been waiting patiently for. - Amazing visual presentation, Action offers a lot of variety, Excellent story and well developed gameworld, Fun weapons to use
- Lots of load times, No multiplayer

A couple of months ago I reviewed and called it a Halo2 killer. However, this statement doesn’t last long as Half-Life 2 is easily overtaking Instincts. The lack of an online option in HL2 will probably leave some gamers craving for more but regular readers of my writings know that multiplayer games leave me cold making this point non decisive whatsoever. Without a doubt this the finest single player game of any type available on any console for the time being. It would be a crime for you to miss out on this excellent game. Even if it’s not your favourite genre of games you’d be doing yourself a major disservice by overlooking this or pigeon holing it as just another first person shooter. First off, the game's graphics and controls are great, even fun to go through x amount of levels before it turns into something totally crude, offensive, and evil. I had the displeasure of going into the level "We don't go to Ravenclaw" or whatever it's called, and you're basically in an abandoned town at night with mentally handicapped people screaming at you "Let go of me!!" while you throw saw blades at everyone. if you have a computer try it on there its way better Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- ok i love half life 2 and the xbox version has almost everything the computer version has
- graphics arnt as good as the computer versions no multiplayer

This is really an amazing game. Nobody thought it could be done. How was one of the most technically advanced games for PC supposed to be ported to the x-box successfully? Well, I still don't know how they did it, but they did. And the results are amazing. This is the best shooter on X-box. Yes, it's better than Halo 2. The single player mode is so immersive, you feel like you ARE Gordon Freemen. The entire game is in First-person. Cut-scenes, everything. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
