De poort naar de Xbox is gelukkig goed gegaan (over de PS2 versie heb ik andere verhalen gehoord dus als je een PS2 hebt doe je er verstandig aan eerst nog wat andere reviews te lezen). Het spel heeft wel wat foutjes maar die zijn niet dodelijk, het spel is nog goed te spelen (hoewel je shoot outs soms over moet doen vanwege de besturing) en er zijn meer plus dan minpunten aan deze game. Of je deze game moet kopen is echter zwaar de vraag. Lees Meer

So Mafia is a great game to play let down by sometimes really naff graphics. The game provides an absorbing story, truckloads of atmosphere and plays really well. I'd say if you can get over the graphics you'll find a great sometimes hard game in here. Mafia would have scored higher if it looked nicer. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

While certain things could have been done better, it still remains an enjoyable action game. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Excellent voice acting and story; 1930s period theme a nice change; great music; fun missions; inclusion of Hoboken and Newark (New Ark) as city locations.
- Shakey controls; washed-out textures; chuggy frame rate; mildly unstable; low replay value except for free ride and race modes (which are fun, but nothing special).

"Graphically Mafia has not held up so well when you compare it to the PC version even today. The excellent cutscenes that were throughout the PC version are now recorded into video scenes, and it doesn't look as pretty. The look of the game remains close to the PC version in general terms, but the lower quality textures and lower frame rate doesn't do it any favors." After playing through Mafia on the PC, this Xbox port is an unexpected disappointment. In hindsight the game never should have been ported to PS2 or Xbox. All of the things that made Mafia so visually arresting on the PC were stripped or deleted from the console version. The draw distance is awful: a hazy fog obscures the beauty of Lost Heaven. The lines on the street barely paint in as the front bumper of your car passes them. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Barcode: 5026555301503 "I still remember when i first got this game and how wowed i was by the beautiful the storyline and environment is in this game. While it is far removed from obvious comparison GTA's wild fun this game is equally entertaining. The story is film-class as is the voice-over acting. You really feel for the characters which is vital when you get to the later stages of the story - seriously, this is one of the most moving games i've ever played. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

[][][][][][][]Mafia für die X-Box[][][][][][][] Ich möchte hier eines meiner "ehemaligen" Lieblingsspiele vorstellen. [][][][][][][]Allgemein[][][][][][][] Das Spiel heißt "Mafia" und spielt in den 30er Jahren des 20.Jahrhunderts.
