    Maar die cijfers dan, zul je zeggen. Waarom prijken er bovenaan deze review dan geen achten en negens? Operation Flashpoint Elite is namelijk, ondanks dat de game op vrijwel alle fronten geen fouten maakt, toch geen game die écht geschikt is voor de Xbox. Waarom is moeilijk te zeggen. Mischien omdat het de PC-oorlogsgame bij uitstek was, in ieder geval in 2001. Daarom sluit ik af met wijze woorden. Lees Meer

    This is perhaps the “Microsoft Flight Simulator” of the First/Third Person Shooter genre, a brilliant concept even 4 years on, but I can’t help feeling that maybe developers Bohemia were just too ambitious for their own good in terms of scale and scope.     The conclusion is clear: this port is obsolete. Probably there was a good game in Operation Flashpoint as a franchise, but due to the horrible graphics and equally bad sound effects as well as the somewhat aged and very hardcore-minded gameplay it crashes. The large number of missions and the realistic approach of Operation Flashpoint: Elite might interest the most hardcore shooterfans amongst you, but then you'll have to be satisfied with five year old graphics.     Operation Flashpoint: Elite is simply an old, crippled vet that should have been left to its episodes of Judge Judy and servings of lime Jell-O in the gaming retirement home.     Are you in to realistic military games? Have you logged over 40 hours into Ghost Recon? Have you played Socom: U.S Navy Seals at your friends house more times than he has? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you will love this game. When you start up this game, you will proboly notice that the graphics aren't that good. That is the only flaw about this game.     I expected this game to be pretty good, given it’s great reviews on the PC a few years ago, unfortunately looks and feels like it should have been released a few years ago. The graphics look like they belong on a PS1 rather than a late XBox release. I also found the gameplay to be, well - boring. I persevered for about 7 hours waiting for it to pick up but in the end it just felt like more trouble than it was worth and I gave up. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Well i have played all the Tom Clancy games from the first rainbow six and I still love playing them, but this game is different, I have played the game all the way through on the American side and the Local side, and both are great, it was hard to get out of the habit of doing the same thing everytime you got killed, if it did not work the first time try something different !
