    Although not the most potent Xbox racer on the market, L.A. Rush lets gamers go fully custom in LA; something that many car nuts have looked forward to for a long time. Technically L.A.     Shadow the Hedgehog review Game Over Online - http://www.game-over.com Shadow the Hedgehog has always sounded interesting to me. It showed that Sega didn't necessarily take itself too seriously and was willing to have a bit of fun with their flagship license. I mean, c'mon. Giving a superfast hedgehog a gun seems kind of goofy, right? I figured that we'd get a fairly enjoyable game in the Sonic-style with a kicking sense of humor. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Shadow the Hedgehog is an attempt to take the series into slightly edgier, more mature territory. That's all fine and good, but a game needs more than a bad attitude and some guns to be enjoyable. The multiple endings are great, and they provide some interesting insight into Shadow's past. Unfortunately, everything leading up to those endings is tedious and frustrating due to the nasty controls and an uncooperative camera. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Shadow the Hedgehog was a hugely disappointing game, it's taken everything that was fun about the Sonic games, trampled on it and thrown it out of the window. The game isn't particularly fun to play, it's repetitive, uninspiring and unpolished with horrible camera angles and bad controls. The attempt to make the series darker, edgier, and more mature falls flat on its face and simply sticking a gun in the hand of a hedgehog won't do that. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Many companies research and develop a product that hits a direct bullseye with their target consumers. For example, Nintendo knows well that a quality product for children and families such as the Mario franchise will be profitable, so long as they extend the life of the franchise with quality gameplay and avoid making too many changes to a well-established formula.     Ha ha ha...but seriously, rubbish jokes aside, this is an absolute mess of a game that was never going to be anything better than 'above average'. And it's couldn't even reach those dizzying heights. Do not buy it. Play it if you must (although I can't imagine why you'd want to, since it consists entirely of stopping and starting, with some horrible jumps and camera adjustment every few second), but don't buy it because you will sell it on afterwards for less money.
