KOTOR is the game that Xbox fans have truly been waiting for. We’ve all suffered through delay after delay of this great title, and now that it is finally here we know that it was worth the wait. Met je eigen schip, de Ebon Hawk, kan je wanneer je maar wilt naar verschillende planeten uit het Star Wars universum vliegen. Wat te denken van de woenstijnplaneet Tatooine, of de thuisplaneet van de Wookies; Kashyyyk In Knights of the Old Republic kom je op duizend-en-een locaties die allemaal geweldig zijn neergezet, Bioware heeft zeker veel tijd in de graphics gestoken, er zijn wel framedrops in drukke gebieden, en het ziet er natuurlijk niet ultiem mooi uit, maar... As it stands it's almost perfect - I'm now waiting on the PC version, with better graphics, more missions and the hope that it can be modded to remove the XP cap to make it virtually endless and make it THE perfect game for SW fans. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

A short time ago, in a galaxy not that far away, Bioware released a Star Wars RPG for the Xbox. Publisher LucasArts hasn’t had the best track-record with Star Wars-licensed games, but it hits a diamond in the rough every once in a while, and it’s games overall haven’t been truly BAD. This game is a winner for Star Wars enthusiast, but it may not be the best game for the average player. It's detailed and very time consuming if you want to complete quests and do everything. It really lets you make your own character, and the game play is unique to what you want to do. So many games lack that, but this has a nice balance of fighting and other options. First off I'm not a Star Wars fan at all, I just happened to get the demo in the mail a few years ago and had to buy the game. I honestly don't understand much about Star Wars except you have a good (light) side and a bad (dark) side This is one of those game where you can pick up 10 years from now and play from the middle of no where and not be too lost or confused. The biggest thing for me is the fact that you can choose to be good or evil. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Very easy to just pick up and play at any stage of the game, GREAT altering story, easy controls, good battling system, Not hard at all to understand.
- There are a few time where you get bad camera angles every so often, but not really a big deal at all.

Why am I reviewing a game that came out over 5 years ago? Because it is an amazing classic with a story that just sucks you in. The environments and effects are still awesome. Some of the graphics have aged poorly but that doesn't effect the score. This is the best game of the last generation. Halo 2 and Jade empire came close but this game came out on top. Back in 2003 BioWare delighted the video game world by creating a Star Wars game that was actually *good*. Knights of the Old Republic bulls-eyed one of the largest target groups in history by achieving a fine equilibrium: It had an abundance of Star Wars lore to appease the most hardcore of fans, but it was set four thousand years before the evens of the revered movies, requiring virtually no knowledge of them to enjoy its breathtaking story.
