When creating a sequel to a popular game, there are a few ways you can go about it. Primarily, you can create a whole new game, trying to keep the best of what went before, or you can say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," and create a new game that is essentially just the old game in a new setting. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords clearly falls into the second category, even employing a tweaked version of the same game engine as the original. I could go on, but I will not, it angers me that this game was let down by a rushed schedule and that it’s so obvious that is what has happened. It still remains at the top of my list for last years games as that was written prior to completion of the game and I feel some credit must be given to Obsidian for those first 25 hours, a story so good that you don’t immediately notice the cracks appear and only notice a problem when the roof caves in. I'm sure I wasn't the only one surprised by how good Knights of the Old Republic was. Not only are games based on a license known for being bad, Star Wars games in particular are well known for this. Not to mention I don't even like Star Wars. Yet I loved KOTOR. In my opinion, one of the greatest games ever made. So with much anticipation, I waited for the sequel. is a topgame in the RPG-genre and on Xbox. The only thing we can hold against it is that it's too similar to the previous game but who can describe that as a downpoint when you know KOTOR1 was so great ? An excellent story (despite an unfinished ending), beautifully worked-out characters, a nicely balanced gameplay and a decent fight- and RPG-system make this game a must-have for any RPG lover. There are over 200 other reviews talking about the game so I'm not going to go into it, I just feel that this game has been given unfair reviews based on what a masterpiece the first one was, while the truth is this is certainly a 5 star game. Maybe not *quite* as good as the first, but an amazing game all the same. 5 stars. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

To star this review off I must argue a few points off from what has been said about the game. Through a few of the reviews I have read about this game. Many people have said that this game is not as good as the Prequel and that the story line isn't as good etc etc. I have to disagree. The game is just as good if not better. The story line is brilliant. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Everything! The game play is fantastic holding the same qualities as the Prequel as well as some fantastic new ones
- Hmm.. let me think. The game did not last forever? I suppose one fault was the loading time.
